PRAN-RFL Group contributes to Labour Welfare Foundation

PRAN-RFL Group, one of the leading industrial conglomerates in the country, has donated to the fund of the Bangladesh Labour Welfare Foundation under the Ministry of Labour and Employment. The contribution was made from the company’s Workers Profit Participation Fund (WPPF).
Recently, Dr Md Sanwar Jahan Bhuiyan, Secretary of the Ministry of Labour and Employment, received the donation cheque at the Bangladesh Secretariat. On behalf of PRAN-RFL Group, Kamruzzaman Kamal, Director (Marketing), and Touhiduzzaman, Deputy General Manager (PR), were present.
Speaking about the donation, Kamruzzaman Kamal said, “Industrial development and workers welfare are interconnected. PRAN-RFL Group is always committed to the betterment and welfare of workers.”
He further said, “The Bangladesh Labour Welfare Foundation, operated under the Ministry of Labour and Employment, plays a vital role in ensuring the welfare of workers and their families. PRAN-RFL Group’s contribution will help strengthen this fund.”
Established in 1981, PRAN-RFL Group has become one of the country’s largest industrial conglomerates, operating in diverse sectors including food and beverages, houseware products, electronics, light engineering and textiles. At present, PRAN-RFL Group employs more than 150,000 people across its operations.
